A memorial service is relatively inexpensive compared to a traditional funeral service.

​Funeral Directors in WA have to comply with a Code of Practice - which requires them to provide information about their pricing online.

We have done the hard work for you - and linked the price lists for all of the Funeral Directors (we could find) in the Perth metropolitan area in one document - which can be viewed here.

The average price of a basic chapel service with a cremation in the Perth metropolitan area is around $12 000 - and if you want a burial service - it will cost you even more.

So, more and more families are opting for a 'direct cremation' - meaning a loved one is cremated without a formal chapel service.

Prices for a 'direct cremation' in the Perth metropolitan area, range from between $2 945 to $6 873 - depending on the Funeral Director you choose.
